Now, we heard Jess's opening remarks.
I think there could be no more apt opening to this leadership forum than to talk about women and climate change.
We know that Los Angeles was home to one of the most devastating climate events in recent history.
but also is really a bed of resilience, of innovation and creativity.
What we're here to talk about is climate leadership and impact, and in particularly centering that conversation in the critical role of women.
We know that women represent one of the most vulnerable communities to climate impacts, are responsible for generating resources in many parts of the world, but and also are driving many of the solutions to climate change.
And the leadership that we see on this panel is no more testament to that fact.
At the same time, we're at such a critical moment.
We've seen unprecedented momentum towards solutions, but also unprecedented resistance.
