- Hello from Botswana.
(upbeat African music) I've made it to Botswana and I'm ready for the safari of a lifetime.
Botswana sits in the center of Southern Africa and it wasn't really on my radar until a couple years ago when I visited Namibia and South Africa.
I made videos for both of those trips, I'll link them down below if you haven't seen them yet.
While I was in Namibia and South Africa, I asked my safari guides, where is the best place in Africa for a safari?
And both of them, without hesitation said, "Botswana." So I knew I had to get here and I'm so excited to have finally made it.
I'm gonna be spending about 10 days traveling through the country and there is so much exciting stuff planned.
My first stop here in Botswana is Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.
I'm staying at Leroo La Tau Lodge, which is perched on the Boteti River, which borders the park.
This lodge has 12 chalets overlooking the river, and my jaw dropped when I saw the view from my balcony.
