So I just got my hair cut in the lounge, that's a first.
Hi guys and welcome aboard this Dantorp Aviation video where I'll be checking out the Virgin Atlantic upper class lounge at London Heathrow Airport.
Now this lounge has been named the world's best business class lounge by several huge sources in the aviation industry year after year.
So you can imagine how excited I was to visit for the first time and experience it for myself.
As you'll see in this video, I was not disappointed.
The lounge is contained in what is essentially one large room with several different sections including a bar area, a dining area, a game, chill out and TV area and work spaces.
I was shocked when I saw how crowded the lounge was, but apparently it's like this all the time, every day.
Luckily I found somewhere really nice to sit and enjoy my meal anyway.
The buffet was really cool and the ingredients were among the best I've ever seen in a lounge.
The difference between this and a typical lounge buffet is that they actually had people serving the food so you got to ask for exactly what you wanted but it wasn't self-serve in the traditional lounge way.
